COREL PAINTER 12

Just got my new, upgraded Corel Painter 12 today! Very exciting. At first I was shocked and confused by how different everything was but the updates are amazing. You have so many more brush variant options and you don't get that pixel-tastic effect when zooming in (this is at about 200% zoom and it's smooth). I haven't used it for very long yet, but I am looking forward to discovering it's new features.

This a work in progress screenshot of the sketch below. I have a problem. I cannot work on something if I am no longer happy with it... which is why I also end up with a flood of incomplete works. I NEED TO STICK WITH IT. GRRR.

A concept I had in my mind for a while, I'm glad I finally got it down.

I am a pianist so this represents what music means to me: the beauty of flowers is equivalent to the beauty of music... the colors you can see and hear are limitless. Corny, but this is true to me. I like the way the sketch turned out so I hope I will be able to make this into a real complete work someday.

P.S. I drew the piano without reference so I will have to check it later... there may be some weird parts to it right now.
